The department specializes in the diagnosis, prevention, interception, and correction of malocclusion, dentofacial abnormalities, and craniofacial growth disturbances with the objective of improving oral function, facial esthetics, and overall quality of life.<br \/>\nThe department provides competency-based undergraduate education by integrating theoretical knowledge with preclinical and clinical training. Students are trained to identify developing malocclusions, understand craniofacial growth and development, diagnose orthodontic problems, and recognize cases requiring specialized orthodontic management.<br \/>\nThrough evidence-based clinical practice, ethical patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and community outreach, the department strives to produce competent dental
